Construction of the Central Denver Recreation Center (CDRC) is beginning!
The new recreation center will include:
- Lap pool
- Leisure pool
- Weight area
- Cardio area
- Fitness and multi-purpose rooms
- And more!
Construction Information
Groundbreaking for CDRC is scheduled for November 2 at 9:30AM and construction will continue through summer 2017.
Site amenities will include:
- Parking
- Dog park
- Conversion of the east lane of Josephine to a parking lane from Colfax to 16th Avenue
- And more!

Future Closure Notifications
The majority of work will be limited to the site outside of the right-of-way, however, there will be occasional lane or sidewalk closures necessary for utility connections and right-of-way work. Notifications of such closures will be posted on denvergov.org/CDRC as well as Facebook and Twitter.
